Ain't life fun?
My apologies to anyone who has checked back in to get updates on Lizzie. The family lost the last true cowboy back the end of August. Michael Raymond Hoffman departed this world on August 31, 2018. He was the youngest brother of my husband Garry.
Mike was truly interested in family history. He will be missed. Rest in peace my friend.Mike was truly interested in family history. He will be missed. Rest in peace my friend.
Then a week later Garry found out he had to have his heart checked. This led to quadruple bypass surgery the later part of September. By the grace of God he had good doctors and good care. He is recovering well. Thanks for all the prayers.
I am now attempting to catch up on everything. Please note that I am self-published with Xlibris Publishers. The book is available online at Xlibris, Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble ebook.com.
I have done a few book events and a book club discussion in Winslow. I loved it. What a nice group of women. If you have a book club and would like me to attend, send me an email with the specifics.
Most of all my dream event at the Pioneer Museum here in Flagstaff. I spoke to a crowd of seventy people and survived. Of course, Lizzie is my favorite topic these days. Then we moved over to the Gregg cabin for the book signing. A hearty thank you to all of you that turned out. It happened to be September 14th, the anniversary of Lizzie's death. That made it all the more special.
Poca a poca, little by little we are moving ahead.
Thanks again for reading my ramblings. If you are in the phoenix area on December 15th from 10-12 am, join me at the Superstition Museum for a lecture and book signing. The more the merrier. Books will be available for sale. What a great Christmas Present!
Happy Thanksgiving. This year the Hoffman's have much to be thankful for. JKH
